Capoeira Kids

Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian art form that combining acrobatics, dance, music, and martial arts. This art form was created by enslaved Africans as a way to preserve their cultures and traditions. Today capoeira is practiced by people all over the world. An art created out of oppression during oppression is now used to unify people and build communities.

During this class children will do movements and activities that focus on their coordination, balance, endurance, rhythm and most importantly designed to have FUN!

• Mondays and Wednesdays 5:45pm - 6:15pm ages 3-5 years old

• Mondays & Wednesdays 6:15pm for children aged 6 years old and up at StudioXL located at 3716 W W.T.Harris Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28269.
